Leonardo Alfonsi

Leonardo Alfonsi is a passionate and creative science communicator and a physicist, active in science communication projects development and management since 1998 at national and international level. He served as president of Eusea, the European Science Events Association, form 2012 to May 2016 and since 2004 he is director of events at Psiquadro, a nonprofit enterprise where he runs science communication projects jointly developed with national and international Universities, Research Institutions, Science Centres and Museums and Cultural Institutions. Over the last fifteen years Alfonsi developed his passion for science communication and his creativity conceiving science events, museums contents, schools activities, and collaborations with media. In 2015 he received the prize “Romeo Bassoli” for outreach activities awarded by the Italian Physical Society. In 2017 he was awarded the PhD in research communication by the University of Perugia – Italy.

Claudia Aguirre

Claudia Aguirre (M.S., Centre Scientifique d’Orsay at Paris XI University; École Normale Supérieure de Cachan). For more than 10 years she worked as Director of Education and Contents at Parque Explora, a science center located in Medellin, Colombia.  Some of its main work topics have been: mediation in science museums, scientific museography, relationships between Art and Science and Public Engagement with Science. She organized two international science theater festivals and participated in numerous events related to museums, science communication and  Public Engagement with Science. In her free time, she is a mom, a dancer and a reader.
